Kristin Buczek, President of SharpMinds, Inc. of Alexandria, is scheduled to speak at two upcoming Government Contracting Institute (GCI) conferences. Ms. Buczek will address attendees at GCI’s federal contract audit and cost accounting systems conference, to be held April 28-30 at the Westin Grand Hotel in Washington DC. The subject of her speech, scheduled for Friday, April 30, is “GSA Contract Benefits and Audit Guidance.” Key topics to be addressed include the contract award process, particularly with regard to what is looked at during pre and post-award audits, as well as performance review audits and how to ace these evaluations.
Ms. Buczek will also speak at GCI’s Bootcamp for Federal Sales, to be held at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla, near San Diego, CA, on Friday, May 14. She will cover the different ways in which companies can sell their products and services to the federal marketplace, focusing on multiple-award contract vehicles such as GSA schedule contracts and Government-Wide Agency Contracts, which are designed to streamline the procurement and acquisition process, benefiting both vendors and government agencies. This speech is entitled “Maximizing Sales with Multiple-Award Contracts,” and will concentrate on the benefits and dynamics of these solutions from the contractor’s perspective.
